HOME HEALTH CARE
In home health care enables people to remain in their homes longer and maintain their independence. These services are wide ranging and include such activities as assistance with balance, safety, endurance, bathing, dressing, simple wound care, medication review and monitoring and chronic disease education and monitoring.
Senior home care is sometimes necessary after one has been released from the hospital or is recovering from an illness. Additionally, a patient may need In-Home Health Care if they are experiencing a decline in abilities which makes being in their home environment unsafe or difficult. The NURSING HOME CARE can provide these services with a doctor’s order in either a private home or in a resident.
There are certain criteria that must be met in order to qualify to receive home health services, but the goal is to help assure the patient’s safety within their home, through nursing management, therapy intervention, and safety training and education.
